Since 2007 the Dog Care Clinic is fighting against the suffering of (stray) dogs in Sri Lanka - no matter if by our Vaccination & Neutering Program, our Daily Tours, Emergency OPs, ambulant treatments or by taking in dogs in need.

We are on duty all 365 days of the year - only too often beyond the limits of our resources and always fighting to be "still there the other day" for the animals, that need us....

Sadly (!) our project still has to be funded with more than 70% by our founder Marina Möbius herself, and that's why we have to ask you urgently to take over some (co)responsibility, too.

  • if your (holiday)darling needs medical care medication an treaments have to be covered - so at least an adequate donation should be a matter of course. Free of charge treatmens are reserved for poor and needy locals.

  • The DCC is mainly a (emergency) clinic - not a shelter. We are happy about every rescued puppy / dog, but especially puppy care is extremly time consuming and costy. And our care is a lif long care   - either by the DCC ReHome, the daily Tours or the DCC 50+ Program.
So if you want a life-time care for your (holiday)findling its only fair to cover some part of the running expenses with a sponsorhip. We're also happy if you don't start to think about the future of your (holiday)darling only 24h before your departure...

  • Our teams are in permanent operation on their fixed assignments, so usually they are not "on call" to pick a dog and sadly we're lacking the resources to pick up dogs Sri Lanka wide. But as a responsible animal friend you may always bring the dog to us, all contact details can be found here.

Some might feel "offended" by the above....
But please keep in mind, that our project is - and has to be - designed for sustainability, this inaturally includes the funding for the help we provide. We do not receive any (governmental) support, every single Cent is raised either by donations - or as said before - mainly by Marina Möbius herself.
If the funding fails the will be no help at all for the dogs in need - so -  -

Take over some (co)responsibility before it's too late !
