Dear <<First Name>>,

in the first two months of this year alone, we’ve already welcomed over 200 new patients into our clinic. The number is overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to provide these animals with the care they deserve. But there are days when it’s hard to keep our heads up—not just because of the stress, but because of the hostility we face.

Just earlier this week, we were alerted to an injured street dog that needed immediate care. We rushed the dog into our clinic, where we discovered a complex front leg fracture and a dislocated shoulder. After carefully considering the situation and the severity of the injuries, we recommended an amputation—something we would, of course, have done free of charge. Instead of understanding, we were met with rejection. The person who had reported the dog to us disagreed, took the dog back, and rallied their friends to flood our clinic with negative reviews on Google. Within just two hours, we were hit with twelve 1-star reviews! To make matters worse, there were even threats made against our veterinarian and his family.

This is the “gratitude” my team and I receive while we pour our hearts into caring for these animals every single day. We are hurt, we are disappointed, but we will not let this break us. Because the animals need us.

I want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and for believing in us.

Can you please help us by leaving a positive review on Google. Your kind words can help us push back against these unfair attacks and allow us to continue providing the best possible care for the animals who depend on us.

Three special cases

Since the clinic is currently bursting at the seams, we urgently need help to cover the treatment costs and provide long-term care for the dogs. Today, I want to introduce you to three cases that are especially close to our hearts:

What a heartbreaking sight! Rottweiler Rojer is in an absolutely devastating condition. His family is too poor to afford a visit to the vet, so Rojer had to continue suffering without any help. The pain he endured is unimaginable! It took a long time before the family finally brought him to us. We are the only clinic that offers free treatments! Without us, Rojer would likely never have received the help he desperately needed.

Rojer’s journey to recovery has only just begun, and we urgently need your help to cover the costs. Every euro counts and means the difference between life and death for dogs like Rojer.

Together, we can save Rojer!

Sponsorships are also possible!

Jada is a dog who belonged to an owner and had an accident six months ago. Since then, she has been paralyzed and considered worthless by her owner. The past few months, she has been chained up, kicked, and beaten, was barely fed, and forced to drag herself through her own urine and feces. A local resident reached out to all animal welfare organizations, but no one helped. Finally, the call for help reached us, and although we had already reached our capacity limit, we couldn’t just leave Jada to her fate. She is now safe with us.

We are now urgently looking for sponsors for her. The care and treatment of a severely disabled dog in the clinic is costly and demanding. Sponsorships are available starting at 5 euros. Most of the sponsorships we receive range from 15 to 20 euros

Dustin is still waiting for his first sponsor!

Dustin was already eight years old when he was discovered by a Sinhalese man. He must have been through a lot. Tests at the clinic revealed that he has an old, untreated hip fracture. Additionally, he shows signs of paralysis in his hind legs, and his legs were severely injured. Dustin will stay with us forever because he would have no chance surviving on the streets. We are now looking for loving sponsors to accompany Dustin on his journey. Click here to visit Dustin’s sponsorship page.

These are just three of the more than 200 cases we've helped in the past two months. Among them were 10 newborn puppies, of which sadly only eight survived, as well as a pregnant dog who was abandoned and gave birth to her puppies just a few days ago at DCC. We are truly bursting at the seams!
