Smile and Jacky

Name: Smile and Jacky
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 8 years and 5 months
Description:

Smile and Jacky are another two dogs in our DCC 50+ program, the social project for animals and people. We found both dogs when they were still puppies. We took them into the clinic and nursed them up.

Smile was lucky to find a ReHome place with a local family. Sadly, she continously suffered from rash and other skin issues and had to spend a great amount of time in the clinic for treatment. Since the situation didn't get better we had to relocate Smile, accompanied by Jacky, via our DCC 50+ program.

Now, they live with a caring elder couple who receives a monthly pension by the DCC in order to be able to care for the dogs. All medical supervision (e.g. vaccinations and skin treatments) are still conducted by the DCC free of charge. We regularly visit all of our 50+ dogs to make sure they are doing fine.

Sadly, Smile passed of renal failure in August 2020. We still continue our care for Jacky.

Obviously, the DCC 50+ program is very costly and therefore not only Jacky but her foster family, too are hoping for many kind sponsors willing to support them
