Finley was paralyzed and therefore required special care from the very beginning. As a disabled puppy, he would have had no chance of survival on the streets of Sri Lanka. That is why we took him in, with the aim of giving him a safe, healthy, and happy future. Initially, he was cared for in our intensive care unit; later, when he was old enough, we integrated him into one of our groups for severely disabled dogs.
Despite his condition, Finley was an exceptionally cheerful and active dog. He was full of energy, always on the move, and got along wonderfully with the other dogs.
In mid-April 2026, Finley was tragically bitten by a venomous animal and sadly passed away as a result of the bite. His sudden loss has deeply affected us all. Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, dear friend. We will never forget you.
