Fluffy, as we named him, roamed the streets of Ahangama. He had been sighted frequently, but no one had been able to catch him. The wound was full of maggots and the dog was in such pain and agony that he walked aimlessly up and down the street day and night without rest. Eventually he gave up from exhaustion and excruciating pain. We were finally able to catch him.
In the clinic, the full extent of his injury became clear. The ear could not be saved and we had to remove it. Since Fluffy didn't look like a street dog, we went looking for the owners. In fact, we found them and were able to reunite Fluffy with his family. But the ear kept causing problems and the owners were overwhelmed with the care. So we took Fluffy on permanently.
Fluffy is now looking for kind sponsors who love him just the way he is!
