More dead than alive, Mr wiggles lay one day completely debilitated in the middle of the street in front of the clinic. His heartless owner had simply abandoned the Labrador. Mr. Wiggles was only skin and bones and had a severe eye inflammation.
Eating was very difficult for him. As we discovered, Mr. Wiggles has had a shortened tongue. It is quite possible that something happened to him as a puppy or young dog.... certainly Mr. Wiggles has had quite a bad past, but at the DCC he regained his courage to live and against all odds he made it! His blood counts were the worst we have ever seen in a dog but after treatment they had stabilized.
Unfortunately, some time ago it turned out that Mr. Wiggles had a bladder tumor. We were able to help him for a while, but now we’ve had to say a heavy-hearted goodbye to our beloved companion.
