Chocolate was dragging herself across the dirty asphalt when she was found by our partner organization Embark. She already had a massive injury from rubbing on the street. As a paralyzed dog she had hardly any chance of getting enough food and so she was emaciated upon arrival at the clinic.
At DCC, she didn't have to worry about finding sufficient food. We also treated her wound and gave her therapeutig massages. Chocolate spent a very happy time at DCC but sadly passed of renal failure in 2023.
