Like (too) many of their comrades Aiana, Lahja, Malea and one
sister started their lives as "cardbord puppies"....
...discarded by their owners like trash.
Sadly one sister didn't make it, but Aiana, Lahja and Malea soon
became "nimble teens" and we were happy when Lahja found a

Malea and Aiana got places at DCC 50+, the social project for people
and animals, and developed just nicely in <link internal-link über das dcc>their DCC 50+ home,
but on a control visit at Lahja we had to find her haggard with chainmarks...
....of course we took her with us to the clinic immediately and treated her wounds. We were fearing that Laja would never find a home but to our big surprise an animal loving Sinhalese man adopted her.
