Peggy began her life as one of the (too) many foundlings...
Saved from a fate on the streets of Sri Lanka we nursed her up and were happy when we found a ReHome Place for her.
Still we continued our care for Peggy...
...but on one check-up visit we had to find out, that her foster family moved away and left poor Peggy behind.
Too bad, as Peggy was too attached to people now and also too old for a new ReHome.
Due to our permanent lack of space we had to buy a healthy young dog a place in our DCC 50+ Program - a help project for animals and people that guarantees Peggy a good home but also implies high extra costs for us.
Sadly, Peggy died of renal impairment in November 2021. We will miss her a lot... Run free, beloved Peggy!
