Gordon is not the classic "problem child" but he had a more than strenuous life so far.
We found him as a pup on our Daily Feeding Tours - we took him with us to the clinic to rescue him from an early end on the streets of Sri Lanka.
We nursed him up, neutered and vaccinated him and were most happy when we found a ReHome Place for Gordon.
But after the first ReHome controls we had to notice, that his foster family didn't take care for Gordon at all.
Our "happy teen" returned to us as a haggard and terrified dog.
Yet another sample how important our ReHome check-ups are.
After a few weeks we tried to rehome Gordon to another family but he ran away from their place. In spite of huge search actions in our area no trace of Gordon could be found for weeks and we expected the worst...
Via Facebook two tourists recognized Gordon on a photo and finally we were able to find him in Kogalla.
What a joy from both sides...
We didnt rehome him again and he lived a long and happy life at DCC.
After a babesiosis infection he died aged 13. Gordon leaves a big gap but we are happy he had a good life under our care.
Run free, Gordon. We will never forget you!
