We picked up Jack from a nearby temple because he was in pain and had swollen testicles. We treated him in the clinic, the swelling went down and also his pain stopped. When we brought Jack back to his temple the monks refused to provide shelter. We could not guarantee for his safety and therefore took him back with us.
In the eyes of most Sri Lankans, Jack was considered as ugly because of his brown fur and bold spots. For this reason and due to his age he never found a home through our <link 26#360 - internal-link "Opens internal link in current window">Rehome project</link> - despite his very loving character.
He lived on our clinic compound for many years, but in December 2019 he developped a sever kidney condition and in spite of all efforts he left us forever in January 2020.
