Pantau was less than two months old when someone dropped him in front of the clinic. Luckily, we found him before he was run over by a car or a tuktuk.
We took him in and have been caring for him ever since. Sadly, he never found a family through our rehome program and so months have passed and he has turned into a grown-up dog by now.
Due to the limited space we eventually decided to give Pantau to a local poor family as part of our <link 50#1972 - internal-link "Opens internal link in current window">DCC 50+ social adoption scheme</link>. He lied a happy life with the family and we visited him every month to make sure he was doing good. We also supported the needy family with a monthly pension. Like this, we help people AND animals.
Sadly, end of December Panatau met with a horrible accident. Despite our immediate rescue and treatment we couldn't save him. He died from internal bleeding.
Beloved Pantau, we will never forget you! Rest in peace.
