Tabea

Name: Tabea
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 11 years and 3 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 11 years and 1 month
Description:

Three young Sri Lankans brought Tabea and two siblings in a plastic bag. The puppies were haggard and all had rash. We nursed them up and were really happy when Tabea, healthy and vaccinated, found a place in our rehome program

During the first years she was well looked after and her family immediately informed us when Tabea had a cough. We gave her medicine and short time later we were able to pick up a healthy dog for neutering.

Also, when she had a rash relapse we were informed in time and Tabea was treated at the clinic.

But with the time passing her family's care diminished and we found Tabea often chained when we visited. She also lost weight. When her skin problems re-occured and her weight went down even more we eventually brought her back with us.

Tabea will not return to this family and so she is yet another dog we take care if in one of our external packs. Here, she enjoys her freedom and becomes step by step independent from us.
