Tessa was only two months old when she was dumped in front of our gate. A bloodcheck showed us high infection values. Additionally, she had rash and was clearly malnourished. We nursed litle Tessa back to health and were happy when she found a home through our rehome program.
Due to fungus infections Tessa had to be treated at the clinic numerous times. On our visit tours we demanded from the family to keep a minimum standard of hygiene for Tessa to stay healthy. But they continued keeping Tessa in dirt and dust and so we took her back with us eventually.
We gave Tessa many happy years at DCC until she sadly passed due to renal failure in March 2020.
