An animal-loving foreigner most likely saved Sumba's life. She stepped in courageously when the puppy was attacked and bitten by a stray dog. She brought the little furball to us and also covered the costs for the initial check-up and treatment.
Sumba was very frightened after h experience on the street but quickly learned she was in save hands now.
Unfortunately, we never found a new home in our Rehome program for her and so she is yet another resident dog. If we can find enough kind sponsors, however, we might be able to put her in our social adoption scheme, the DCC 50+.
Sadly, Sumba died in a train accident in September 2020. Run free little sunshine, we will never forget you!
