Askan

Name: Askan
Breed: Rottweiler
Gender: Male
Age: ca 8 years
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 7 months
Description:

We try to continue to visit as many owner dogs as possible after treatment has been completed, if we feel the need to do so. This saved Askan's life! We already knew Askan from a treatment several years ago when the Rottweiler came to us very neglected. We nursed him back to health and the owner reclaimed him. We then visited Askan until we were banned from the property. But we're not that easy to get rid of and when we checked on Askan again we found him in his moldy cage, smeared with his own feces, starving and dehydrated.

The owner had left him there alone for two weeks.

We freed the poor Rottweiler and took him to the clinic. We were fighting for his life and he did make it!

It took us a long time to find a  good forever home for him but we did! We still continue all medical care and are hoping for your support!
