Arielle

Name: Arielle
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 5 years
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog for: 4 years and 9 months
Description:

Arielle was found by Marina Möbius on one of our outdoor missions close to the Galle harbour. Poor Arielle was freightened and limping.

We nursed her up, vaccinated her and cured her limping leg. We were happy when Arielle found a Rehome family. On our check-up we sadly had to discover that Arielle and her doggy friend Klaere were kept in a dark bunker - despite a spacious fenced garden.

This is far from adequate animal housing and so we took both dogs with us.

Unfortunately, Arielle had trouble fitting in with our packs and so we had to put her in our Rehome 50+ program, the social project for people and animals. At that time, Arielle was the 108th dog in this successful program.

Every dog in the DCC 50+ means additional monthly costs of 70 Euro for the DCC as we not only care for dog but for the needy foster family, too

Sadly, Arielle passed in July 2020 - totally unexpected and suddenly.

She was supported by
