Imara

Name: Imara
Breed: Ridgeback Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 9 years and 11 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 3 years
Description:

Imara was bought as a puppy for a lot of money. But when she got bigger, the owner - as in so many cases - was completely overwhelmed with the Ridgeback bitch. The neighbors were afraid that she might attack the children, so her owner locked her in a cage and chained her to a short chain.

She led this sad life for almost two years until she was finally rescued by a foreigner who brought her to us.

Imara is not an isolated case !! When buying pedigree dogs, the decision is made purely on the basis of their appearance and nobody thinks about whether they are even able to take care of such a dog. When it gets too strenuous, the animals are simply chained up and locked away. It is terrible.

Imara was saved and can now lead a happy life with us. But we can't do it without your help, because calls for help like these reach us every day.

We are now urgently looking for sponsors who would like to accompany Imara on her further path with us.
