Quem

Name: Quem
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 6 years and 10 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 6 years and 7 months
Description:

Quem was abandoned when she was just a little puppy. We rescued her and nursed her up. When she finally got a ReHome place we were very happy for her.

Unfortunately, Quem got sick and had so stay as an in-patient in our clinic. When she had fully recovered her foster family didn't wank her back - eventhough we paid for alle the treatment costs, like we do with all of our ReHome dogs.

Time passed quickly and soon Quem grew "too old" for a new ReHome, too attached to people to be provided via our daily feeding tours and "too healthy" to become a DCC Resident.

Our - meanwhile usual - dilemma.....

...but exactly for cases like this our DCC 50 + Program was started, a project to help dogs and people.

Not only does Quem have a good home by now, but also her DCC 50+ family is in a better financial situation thanks to the monthly pension we pay. Sadly, Quem ran of due to the fireworks during the New Year celebration and hasn't been seen since.
