Struppi

Name: Struppi
Breed: Mix
Gender: Male
Age: ca 4 years and 4 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 4 years and 3 months
Description:

Little Struppi was brought to us from Ambalangoda by a tourist. Lovingly, she had taken care of him for a week already. One of his legs was broken and he had severe skin issues.

It was easy to see that Struppi had endured a lot of hardship on the streets of Sri Lanka. Due to his weak immune system we were afraid he wouldn't make it. Now, he is on the road of recovery and his broken leg is healing, too but he will always be limping. With this disability he won't find a place in our Rehome program as even the slightest handicap makes a dog not "attractive" in the eyes of a lot of locals.

So we decided to take care of him through our social adoption scheme, the DCC 50+ program.

His savior is already supporting Struppi with a sponsorship and we are hoping for more nice animal lovers helping with the finances for on-going care and treatments.
