Most likely due to a genetic defect Fortuna was born blind and with a palatine cleft. Disabled dogs have a specially hard time in Sri Lanka but Fortuna was lucky: two Sri Lankans brought her to our clinic when she was still a puppy.
Despite her being blind Fortuna is a very joyful and active dog who explores the clinic compound self-confidently.
She will always depend on our help and so we are eagerly looking for animal loving sponsors willing to support Fortuna!
