Due to their handicap our paraplegic dogs need a special area to ensure species appropriate husbandry - so we gave them their very own area in October 2017.
Paralyzed by accidents, but also by kicks and beatings of animal abuseres, these dogs are in need of extra much care, so at least 4 DCC staff members are exclusively there for them (almost) 24 h per day - on all 365 days.
Daily therapies like massages, walk training and hydro therapy are on their schedules and to spend as much time with them as possible is a matter of the heart to us.
This is how we give them an active life in dignity, but all that has to be funded and so we ask you from the bottom our hearts -
