The "Old Clinic" was opened in 2007 and marks the beginning of the success story of DCC. We are equipped to Western standard and can conduct major surgeries. At the Old Clinic we also take care of our puppies and dumped rescue dogs.

We save lives at the so-called "New Clinic" on 365 days of the year. Our vets conduct treatments, give vaccinations and perform neuterings. All this is free of charge for poor locals.

An animal's life is far from easy in Sri Lanka. There is an estimated number of 40 million stray dogs. Most of them suffer from hunger and illnesses which are not treated. We are their only hope.

We have a large number of severly disabled dogs who live at their own area at the clinic. It is designed according to their special needs. Every dog has deserved a chance in life!

Our DCC 50+

Our social adoption scheme helps animals AND people. Seniors receive a monthly pension in return of adopting one of our dogs. It is a true win-win situation!

Since 2021, we have also been taking in ungulates in need. We have created a separate area for them. Our cows, goats and donkeys are also happy to have sponsors!
