Little Ivy was beaten as a puppy causing a broken back and leaving her paralyzed. Since everyone in Sri Lanka knows that the DCC offers best facilities for disabled dogs animal welfare organization Embark asked us to take in Ivy.
We agreed and paralyzed Elena has found a good friend in new arrival Ivy.
Both dogs live in our area for disabled dogs and receive daily therapies including oil massages.
Taking care of paralyzed dogs is a very care intensive task because they are prone to wounds and infections. Therefore, we are in desperate need of animal loving sponsors willing to accompany Ivy throughout her life.
