Mayli was just a tiny puppy when she was hit by a reckless driver. Miraculously, she only suffered a fractured leg. We immediately treated her, put a cast on her leg, and cared for her with love. The leg was saved, but a slight mobility impairment remains with the sweet dog to this day.
In Sri Lanka, Mayli is often considered "worthless" because she is a brown dog with a disability, which is why she was not adopted. As a result, she will likely stay with us at the DCC or be placed in our DCC50+ program, where we can provide her with a loving home.
