Chili

Name: Chili
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 7 years
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 6 years and 10 months
Description:

Chili was brought to us by an animal loving tourist who also became her first sponsor. She did not hand over her responsibility at the gates of the clinic which we are very grateful for.

A short time after arrival it showed clearly that Chili must have had a very harsh life on the streets of Sri Lanka. She was not active, didn't eat had liquid stool and suffered from vomitus. Blood test showed very high inflammatory values. We were fighting for the little one and were able to guide her through these hard times. She grew into a beautiful young lady under our care.

Chili sadly never found a home through our Rehome project and so we put her in our DCC 50+ adoption scheme.

Like this, we support elder poor Sri Lankans who take care of one of our dogs. They receive a monthly pension in return and we still supervise the well-being of the dogs. This is how we help animals and people at the same time!

Please help us to help Chili and her needy family.
