Neutered/Spayed: Yes

DCC dog since: 5 years and 7 months
Description:

Louis' survival is a true miracle! We received an emergency call a whole three days (!) after the poor guy had been attacked by a bull.

Immediately, our team rushed to his rescue and brought the severly injured dog to the clinic. The bull caused a deep wound on his head and it was uncertain whether it had caused any brain damage to Louis. His eye was not recognizable anymore due to the size of the wound. The fight for his survival had started.

But Louis is a brave fighter and our experienced team was able to revive him step by step. Luckily, his brain was not damaged and there was also no need to amputate his eye.

It was a long road of recovery for Louis and by the time the wound was healed it was impossible to find a caring home for him. Louis will remain a DCC resident for all his life or we have to find a costly place for him in our DCC 50+ program, the social program to help people and animals.

Please help us to provide a carefree life for this lovely chap!
