An owner brings in a 5 month old pup, chained up since she was only a baby and (of course) the chain size has never been adjusted eversince. The result is a horrible wound around the neck.
So "keep the mouth shut" and help the dog....
So far (sadly) almost daily routine - BUT - when the pup woke up from anesthesia and the owner wanted to take her, the little girl cried and fought so hard, that it could be heard up to the other side of the DCC compound.
Marina Möbius rushed to the scene, realized the situation and - without hesitation - she accommodated the dog in the DCC.
Her very lovable character quickly made her one of the team's darlings and it didn't take to long for one of our employees to give her a new home. Now, we visit Marly daily on our feeding tour and surely, we will accompany her throughout her entire life.
