In the night from May 2nd to May 3rd, 2022 Joseph saw the light of day. Two of our staff were by mother Wilma's side all night to support her during the birth. After Henry, Joseph is the second calf born in the DCC. He is lucky enough to spend his whole life under our protection. Normally he would be slaughtered at a young age. Joseph is allowed to stay with his mother and is not separated from her at the slaughterhouse.
In order to be able to cover the costs for his care, we are now urgently looking for animal-loving sponsors.
