Wilma and her calf Salsa are inseparable and Wilma always has her calf in view. If we hadn't bought them free, they would no longer be alive. Wilma and Salsa were already in line at the butcher's. Of course, we are well aware of the fact that we can't save all the cows from the butcher but after seeing them we couldn't just leave them to their sad fate. Every life counts for us and so we now also take care of Wilma and give her a happy life in our care.
About a year after we took Wilma in, she gave birth to another calf: Joseph
