Günther was the first kid goat to be born at the Dog Care Clinic. His mother, Meckie, was presumably already pregnant when we rescued her and brought her to the clinic. In the early morning of August 19, she gave birth to her healthy baby goat. Günther, affectionately known as Günni, was able to grow up under our protection by his mother's side and spend his life safely cared for at the DCC.
Sadly, in May 2026, Günther passed away suddenly and unexpectedly – a great shock to the entire team. Nevertheless, we are grateful that Günther was able to enjoy such a wonderful life with us and that he never had to experience any suffering until the very end.
Farewell, dear friend. We will never forget you!
