We found this little puppy dumped in front of our clinic in the middle of June 2024.
She was only 10 weeks old, but was already a "burden" for her family. Kalena is disabled. She has signs of paralysis and does not have full control over her hind legs.
Disabled dogs are considered worthless by most people in Sri Lanka, and so she too ended up on the street.
We have named her Kalena and tried to give her as much control over her legs as possible with the right treatment.
We were hoping to give Kalena many happy years but sadly things didn't go as planned. Kalena passed of distemper...
