Kimmy

3 year old Kimmy was an owner dog...

After an accident her heartless owner just "discarded" her. 

Fortunately one of our Teams found her at the Unawatuna Temple
and brought her to the DCC.

By immediate treatments and a surgery the worst could be prevented.

For we are always short on capacity we planned to provide Kimmy
via our DailyTours ...

...but only after a few days Kimmy got so homesick, that we
simply had to take her back to the clinic.

Since Kimmy was so attached to us so we were concerned if
even DCC 50+ would be an option for her.

So Kimmy almost became (yet) another DCC Resident, but
miracles happen....
...a poor family close to the clinic signed up for the DCC 50+ Program
and gave Kimmy a new home.

To give her some company Yatagalle went with her, so he also
has a family now. 

After many wonderful years in the 50+ family, we all had to say goodbye to Kimmy. We are grateful that she was able to enjoy so many happy years.
