This poor guy was dumped close to the clinic at Mihiripenna temple. He had hardly any fur left and was suffering from a severe fungal infection. Additionally, he was quite malnourished.
His sudden appearance in the area and his very affective nature make us believe he had an owner. Like so many fellow sufferers he was simply thrown out when he became sick.
We named him Leroy and are hoping to find many kind sponsors who fund his carefree and happy life at DCC!
Sadly, eventually, Leroy's past cuaght up with him and he crossed rainbow bridge one year after arrival at DCC. We hoped to spend more time with him but his liver was too sick.
Rest in peace, Leroy. We will never forget you!
