You would think that the dogs are in good hands and looked after at Buddhist temples. The opposite is the case and we have had to save countless dogs from temple complexes. Rocco was also in a pitiful state when we discovered him.
Rocco was already an old dog at that time and so we decided to keep him with us forever. At the DCC he could live out his old age in dignity. Despite his bad past, he was allowed to live to be 14 years old.
