What did Sly and his two siblings had to endure when they were put into a rice bag and dropped in front of the clinic in the middle of the night? Luckily, we found the three scared dogs without injuries. They were malnourished and had skin problems but were fine otherwise.
We treated them and were happy when two of them were adopted through our Rehome program. But Sly got sick and when he was back to health he was "too old" to be of interest.
And so - living at the clinic - Sly grew into an adult dog until he was old enough for his castration. Afterwards, we put him in our DCC 50+ program, the social adoption scheme. He had a loving home and his poor foster family got a monthly pension from us in return for taking care of him. He spent many happy years with his family until he sadly passed of kidney failure.
