We took care of Truth since she was a puppy. Together with three siblings she was abandoned in front of our garage. The puppies were about two months old.
We took the siblings in and nursed them back to health. As a brown female dog, Truth unfortunately never found a home, so we initially had to find a place for her on the clinic grounds. Since she never felt comfortable in any of our packs, we eventually enrolled her in our DCC50+ Program.
Truth found a loving home with elderly locals in need. We checked on her regularly to make sure she was doing well, and in return, her adoptive family received a small monthly pension from us. Of course, we also covered all of Truth's medical expenses for the rest of her life.
Sadly, Truth was killed in a traffic accident in July 2026. We are heartbroken, as she had been a cherished member of the DCC family for so many years.
