Like so many fellow sufferers Vasco was dumped with his siblings in a cardboard box on the street. Luckily for the family our teams check the clinic area daily. We found the six puppies in time and were able to rescue them.
We treated their skin diseases, dewormed them and vaccinated all of them. Later, we also spayed and neutered the dogs. All of them were lucky to find Rehome families but sadly, it didn't last for long. Vasco had re-occuring skin issues and was returned to us. He was not turned in for treatment - despite the fact that all treatments are free of charge for our Rehome families.
Vasco was back at the clinic and spent many happy years. He sadly passed of cancer in January 2024.
