Whoopy and Lioba were not always such happy and healthy dogs.... When we found them on our daily tours their condition was pitiful - more than once we were afraid they wouldn't make it.
But thanks to loving care the two recovered rather quickly and they became the darlings of the whole team.
Whoopy and Lioba were too old for a "normal" ReHome, but we just couldn't put them back to the streets.
So we got the a place in our DCC 50+ Program...
...a social project to help people and animals.
Whoopy and Lioba spent many happy years together with their family. Sadly, Lioba passed of old age in 2024.
Of course, we continued to care for Whoopy and made sure everything was fine with regular monthly check-ups.
But sadly, in October, we also had to say goodbye to Whoopy. We’re grateful, however, that she was able to enjoy such a wonderful time with her 50+ family!
