Brow was the third pit bull we took in for intensive care at our clinic within just a few days. He was brought to us by his owner. Yes, this poor dog actually had a home and a person who should have been taking care of him! But Pitbull Brow was literally covered from head to paw with maggot-infested wounds. His ears and paws were the worst affected. He must have been in excruciating pain. Even his testicles were injured and had to be completely removed in surgery.
It was immediately clear to us that he should not return to his owner. After treatment, we kept Brow with us and are now searching for a permanent home for him.
