Joony with puppies

This mother was brought to the clinic with her three 1 week old pups. She had had a bad accident. We don't know how long she was on the street worrying about how she will survive for her babies, but luckily she came to us!

Unfortunately, we were unable to save her leg. It had to be amputated. But Joony is a real mama bear and was back on her feet and caring for her puppies just one day after the operation. To take some of the strain off the mother, we also bottle-fed the little ones. Unfortunately, one of the puppies died, but the other two grew up well and were placed with good families through our Rehome program.

Without us, the dog family would not have survived and we will be there for them for years to come. We thought that Joony would never find a home because of her disability, but we were actually able to place her successfully.

We urgently need sponsors to be able to finance the check-up visits and any future treatments.
