Lukas was found by one of our team members in a devastating condition close to the Kattaluwa Tsunami village. He was brought to the clinic immediately. This little man would have had no chance to survive on the streets of Sri Lanka.
We coddled him up and nursed him back to health with lots of love and the right medical care. It was a delight to see how "the picture of misery" turned into a beautiful teen within several weeks.
Lukas was very lucky to find a loving family through our ReHome Program.
A ReHome is never a "goodbye" but always a "see you soon" as we conduct
check up visits on all of our dogs.
We will accompany Lukas throughout the rest of his life.
