Tiffany was brought to the Dog Care Clinic as an emergency case after getting caught in a wildlife trap. We don’t know how long she was trapped, but the wire snares had already cut deeply into her body. It is nothing short of a miracle that she suffered no internal injuries during her desperate struggle to free herself.
We treated Tiffany right away. However, the traumatic experience has left its mark: Tiffany is very shy and wary around people. And who could blame her?
Since dogs are repeatedly injured by unsecured traps in the area where she was found, Tiffany cannot return to her former territory. Instead, she will remain part of our DCC family for the rest of her life, finding a safe home in one of our packs on the clinic grounds.
