Bindu II
Name: | Bindu II |
Breed: | Mix |
Gender: | Male |
Age: | ca 6 years and 2 months |
Neutered/Spayed: | Yes |
Vaccinated: | Yes |
DCC dog since: | 1 month |
Bindu was brought to us seriously injured by his owner. He was bitten by another dog and his eye was badly injured as a result. The bite to the eye unfortunately damaged it so badly that we had to remove it surgically.
The operation went without complications, but unfortunately we discovered that the bite had damaged the entire optic nerve so badly that Bindu had also gone blind in the other eye.
We called the owners to inform them that their dog had gone completely blind and were shocked by their reaction. They didn't want their blind dog back. And if they did have to take him back, they would put him on a chain for the rest of his life. Bindu's damily had absolutely no interest in looking after their blind dog. It's just cruel how these people behave with no empathy and indifference towards their animal. Because of his disability, this dog is worthless to his family. They don't care what happens to Bindu.
We did not leave Bindu to his fate and kept him at the DCC. He is another permanent resident now who will stay with us for the rest of his life.
We will help Bindu...but we also need your help! Please become Bindu's (partial) sponsor and enable us to offer him a safe and loving home.
