Bool 2

Name: Bool 2
Breed: Mix
Gender: Male
Age: ca 3 years and 2 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 3 years
Description:

When Bool got bitten by another dog his eye was badly injured. His owner brought him to us immediately. We stabilized the little dog, gave him pain killers and were fighting for his eye.

After a few days, however, it became clear that the eye had to be amputated. Such a surgery in a young dog is fraught with high risk. But thanks to our experienced vets, Bool survived the procedure and quickly got back on his feet.

When the wound was healed, Bool was ready to go back home but suddenly his owner was no longer interested in him. Unfortunately, we have often found that disabled dogs are worthless here.

Now Bool is one of many abadoned owner dogs and will depend on our help forever. He was very lucky to get adopted by one of our staff members in November 2021. We visit him regularly and still provide all medical care whenever needed.

Update: In February 2023, bool got extremely unlucky. He was bitten in his remaining eye and we had to remove it. Poor Bool is now 100% blind and thus relies on our help and the support of his sponsors more than ever.
