Daggy was already eight years old when he came to us with a long list of illnesses. Among other things, he had a sticker sarcoma on his penis (tvt), a fracture on his hind leg that had never been treated, tick fever (babesiosis) and inflamed anal glands. An animal-loving Sri Lankan woman had brought him to us from Matara. She had no confidence in the local vets.
After completing his treatment, we did not want to return Daggy to the street. The untreated fracture has left him slightly disabled.
Daggy can now spend the rest of his life with us.
We are now very much hoping for sponsors for this lovable dog.
