Fabio was brought to our clinic by a local resident. He had found him on the street – and immediately sensed that something was wrong.
Fabio’s tongue was hanging uncontrollably out of the side of his mouth. During the examination, we discovered the reason: his lower jaw had been broken – most likely a long time ago. Since it was never treated, it healed crooked and deformed.
As if that weren’t enough, Fabio also suffers from severely inflamed anal glands, making even resting almost unbearable for him. And yet, he remains so gentle, so calm. He is one of those dogs who quietly carry their suffering. We can only imagine how much pain he must have endured all those years.
Now, Fabio is finally safe with us. He is receiving the medical treatment and care that he should have had long ago.
Because of his history, Fabio will remain at the Dog Care Clinic for the rest of his life. As a disabled dog, he cannot return to the streets, nor does he have a real chance of being adopted.
That is why we are giving Fabio a loving forever home.
