We are really happy about every rescued street dog, but was there really no other option than to transport the poor animal in a tightly knotted rice bag??? For the dog, this is not only extremely stressful, but also very dangerous due to possible suffocation.
The poor stray, we named him Fletcher, was completely traumatized. The initial examination was only possible under anesthesia. Fletcher had not only skin problems, but also an old untreated injury on his paw. For over a month we tried to save the paw, but in the end an amputation was necessary. As a disabled dog, Fletcher cannot go back to the streets and so we will take care of him for the rest of his life.
