We were informed about Jada through Whatsapp and were at a loss for words.
Unfortunately, this is the harsh reality faced by so many animals in Sri Lanka every day.
“There’s a female dog around 2 to 3 years old that desperately needs help. She has met with an accident 6 months ago and her hind legs are broken. She’s not in good hands. They don’t feed her or give any kind of medication to the dog. Her condition is getting worse day by day because of lack of food any medication and proper treatment. She’s in a very dirty place filled with flies and she’s dragging her severely wounded feet all over her own poop.
An old woman is the owner of her. I heard she even kicked the wounded dog. She’s not a nice person and she just puts up a good act when someone asks about the dog. She no longer needs the dog and ready to give her away or let her die in this condition. The dog used to be so energetic and sweet before. I had a habit of feeding biscuits on my way home. Seeing her in this this situation breaks my heart any I’ve been trying get help from every organization I can for past six months but nothing worked out. Please if anyone out there capable of taking care of her please reach”
