Life on the streets of Sri Lanka is merciless – especially for puppies and disabled dogs. Unfortunately, Tricky was both when we rescued her. At just three months old, she limped through the streets, desperately searching for shelter and food. Her hind leg fracture was old and untreated. Tricky is disabled, and in Sri Lanka, she is quickly labeled as "worthless" – she is brown, she is female, and she is handicapped.
But we want to give Tricky a happy life, full of love and security. In the meantime, Tricky has found a wonderful, loving home very close to the clinic through our ReHome program.
Tricky is now hoping for sponsors who can help us ensure her medical care for the rest of her life.
